Garsot @ ArtSynergism by Garsot & Helen Kagan | Unique Fine & Decorative Art

ARTIST NAME: GARSOT (Gahr-So) derived from Gardiakos Sotirios

Born in Valta – Filiatra Messinias (Greece) in 1943, Garsot - formerly known as Sotirios Gardiakos - graduated as a fine artist in Greece and did post graduate

work in sculpture at the University of South Africa in Pretoria.

On canvas or in sketch, in sculpture or mixed media, OPTIMISTIC SURREALISM has become the heart and face of Garsot's signature look. He paints, draws and molds with inspiration and emotion rather than just design. Following no set form or technique, you will recognize many distinctive styles, yet happy, vibrant colors evoking uplifting thoughts and feelings are dominant. Garsot’s works comprise many different styles, from classic to modern to surrealism. One concept remains evident, he paints to portray feelings of optimism, hope, to make everyone feel good for a better tomorrow.
